The protagonists of the story:
Cadeyrn of Arthfael
An exile from the Feywild, this Eladrin is one of the extensively trained Arcane Guard, blending the talents of a wizard with those of a graceful fighter. Armed with a spear he set out to find a way to free his people from the Archfey, which he despises greatly.
Sent by his dwarven home-stronghold to supervise the expedition into Tarukon, Krargath has found the group of adventurers to his liking, and seems intent to join up permanently. He is a skilled fighter with his hammer and stands in the way of everything that tries to get too close to his friends and allies.
Raised by the Dragonborn, Torrin is one of the last remaining Hume on Anaphar, a highly trained ardent schooled in the ways of the bard. He is quickly becoming one of the premier archeologists in the world, and has something of a leadership position in the group – the first among equals, so to speak.
Vaerlan Ar’elen del Sael’mahas
Probably one of the most-skilled hunters and archers in the whole world, Vaerlan comes from the Sael’mahas groves, intent on perfecting his skills. The elf joined up early with Torrin, when they still were both just starting out their career, and together with Vimak went through several grand adventures.
Vaerlan is not only skilled with the bow, but also in the ways of calling upon the spirits of nature to aid him and his allies.
Once a part of the group, the hardy goliath was a holy man following the principles of Tarvha, the God of the Sun. Together with both Vaerlan and Torrin he experienced a few thrilling adventures, that found their pinnacle in the appearance of the Watcher, the Second Moon, shortly after being freed from captivity in the Feywild.
Literally hours before Cadeyrn joined up, he left the group, having felt a strange calling. He is currently on a crusade of some sort, and seems lost to the adventuring group. Maybe one day they will meet again – as old friends and allies, or as enemies of some sort.
